Darla Rewers, DVM has always been a sensitive, an artist, and an
advocate for animals. She combines these gifts to provide holistic veterinary care for pets, teach qi gong moving meditation for people,
and bring forth sacred truths through her art. Darla's unique gift is
helping people to see the connection between their path and the
teachings of their pets.
Bio: Dr. Darla Rewers, DVM, is a licensed veterinarian, certified in
Veterinary Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
She graduated from U. of Florida in 2002, the first vet school to have
a full-time vet acupuncturist on staff at the teaching hospital. She
received a scholarship to study acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine,
and tui na massage with the American Institute for Traditional Chinese
Veterinary Medicine, where she received her first certification in
animal acupuncture. She later completed additional training and
certifications through the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese
Veterinary Medicine, and the China National Society. Dr. Rewers sees
exotic, small, and large animals. She focuses her practice on
acupuncture, herbs, flower essences, aromatherapy, nutrition, physical
therapy, orthomolecular medicine, and understanding the human-animal
bond. She is also an adept surgeon and diagnostician, successfully
integrating modern and traditional therapies to best make the pet
comfortable for their long term health and safety.
