Linda and her husband rescued an American Eskimo dog named Holly. She came with separation anxiety and health issues; although she was bonding with her new owners, she was still fearful of being left behind.
One day Linda found Holly sniffing enthusiastically in her bedroom closet; she walked over and found it was her therapeutic oils in cases on the floor that had grabbed Holly's interest. As she was aggressively sniffing around the boxes a light went on for Linda - these oils can be used for anxiety, emotional release, and treating physical ailments. Linda opened the boxes; Holly put her nose in the top storage level and started pushing them around gleefully. She turned away from some, but with others, especially the Frankincense and Hylichryseum, she went crazy. Linda put the cap on the floor, and Holly rolled on it as if she'd found nirvana. Relieved to see her so happy, they put some on her fur since animals can be very sensitive to oils on their skins (you have to dilute them with carrier oil).
After reveling in the aromas, Holly went right to sleep and slept soundly for the first time in her new home. Her keepers now make sure the essences are available to her any time she requests them. Rapidly her behavioral difficulties have faded into the past: Holly's innate wisdom turned her life around.
